This laser-quality solid unfinished ash wood is 3mm thick. Sometimes referred to as boxmaker's wood, this timber is sawn from larger sheets that have been pre-dried to prevent warping during drying.

Expertly sanded to a desired thickness, this thin wood is ideal for laser cutting and crafting projects, such as box making, furniture restoration, intarsia, jewellery making and model making. Unfinished, it's ready for any finish you choose, like varnish, stain or paint. It comes sanded with a smooth surface.

Please note that wood is a natural material the grain and colour will vary from sheet to sheet. As the wood is planed very thin please bear in mind that although every effort is made for the sheets to remain as flat as possible, changing temperatures and humidity levels can cause slight warping/ bends in the wood. These features are normal and due to it being a natural material, it is not a fault with the product.
